|Priority||normal||Severity||N/A||Reproducibility||have not tried|
|Target Version||Future Release||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0005881: plugins should add required php to plugin header|
not too far from it being used... easy enough to add...
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|actually, that would go in a readme.txt vs the plugin header file... we dont have that... should we? its more for wordpress.org, but seems they are in the process of not installing plugins if php version required is not met plus few other potential things...|
|If we can build a simple, cheap and easy to use version conditional check then I am all for it...|
think this needs to be made a future release and watched...
a ticket for wp: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/42980
last comment today from dd32 this morning echos my comment from yesterday about this being in a readme.txt vice the plugin header... the other ticket about supporting required php version (https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/40934) is perhaps more interesting to watch and see how its implemented at which time we can react/support...
(We seem to have lost the editor toolbar)
